Although we have designed many styles of landscapes over years: English, French Country, Tuscan, etc, the core of our interest in design is to create beautiful and meaningful landscapes. Strong in form and purpose with the aesthetic content tied to the site and the architecture. Meaningful in this context means the incorporation of your interests, tastes, and identity into the design. It might be practical such as a star viewing platform, play ground, creating new social spaces for adults, incorporating details from a client’s ethnic and cultural background into the design, or their interests in the arts: sculpture, painting, or music. Meaning also comes from the characteristics of sustainable design incorporated into the landscape, making it healthy, using less resources to build and maintain, becomes an integral part of the ecology of the site, and is cost effective to maintain.
